Baran Kosari (باران کوثری) is an Iranian actress born on October 16, 1985 in Tehran. Her father, Jahangir Kosari, is a producer and presenter, and her mother, Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, is an Iranian film director. Baran is one of the most popular actresses in Iranian cinema who has collaborated with great actors and directors. Baran is a graduate of Sureh Conservatory.

Started acting at the age of 7

When he was 7 years old, she starred  film “Best Dad in the World” in 1991. A few months later, she starred in the film “Narges”. So over time, she starred in films directed by her mother.

The beginning of fame

In 2006, she became famous for playing the role of Dina in the series Sahebdelan, directed by Mohammad Hossein Latifi. In the same year, she starred in the film The Roze sevom, directed by Mohammad Hossein Latifi, which was well received by the audience.
