Yaser Bakhtiari is known as Yas (یاس) , an Iranian rapper. He was born on June 20, 1982 in Talesh, Gilan. He grew up in Tehran and at the age of 14 he became acquainted with the songs of Tupac Shakur. Yas’ father brings him hip hop songs from Germany. Yas lost her father at the age of 18 and her family had a difficult life after her father died. So Yas left his civil engineering studies at the university part-time to work to support his family.
